Pedestal guide
With the pedestal, our moss poles can be attached to the pot for extra strength. The pedestal is ideally suited for balancing moss poles up to 100 cm high.
Mounting the pedestal
To mount the pedestal, first push the bottom of your moss pole into the opening of the clamp. Then place the moss pole with the pedestal on the rim of your pot. For a plant pot with a wider rim than 1 cm, the base can be placed on the inner pot. In that case, make sure that the inner pot is sturdy
enough to support the weight of the moss pole. You can attach the included clamps to the sides of the pedestal to hold the pedestal and moss pole firmly in place. This is especially useful with thinner indoor pots. It is not a problem if the pedestal is placed below the substrate, as the material is resistant to moisture. Placing the pedestal below the substrate is actually recommended, as this will provide some extra support.
