The latter has the advantage that you can easily put the plant's roots around the foundation without damaging them. Moreover, this way it is easier to put the moss pole and the plant close together.<br \/><\/b><\/p><p><b>Place the foundation in the substrate <\/b><b>with its white side at the bottom<\/b><b>, as shown in the illustration. The foundation may protrude up to two inches from the ground. However, the deeper the foundation, the stronger the post. Fill the foundation halfway with substrate. You can now place your moss pole in the foundation by gently pushing it into the opening. Keep pushing until the bottom of the mesh is against the substrate inside the foundation.
